Frankford Tree Recognition

On Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 2:00 p. m. the Dallas Historic Tree Coalition recognized an elm tree on the Frankford site as “a living witness to history.” The ceremony took place near the tree, on the west bank of Hall’s Branch near the bridge. Preservation Achievement Award

Frankford Church and our restoration team were awarded the 2011 Preservation Achievement Award for “The Adaptive Use of a Commercial, Institutional, or Mixed Use Property” by Preservation Dallas. We are pleased to have received this honor from an organization dedicated to the preservation and revitalization of Dallas’ buildings, neighborhoods, and other historical, architectural, and cultural resources.
